All orders are either shipped from our warehouse in Texas or directly from the manufacturer’s facilities. We use UPS for small parcels and some of the nation’s largest, most reliable motor freight carriers for truck shipments. Delivery charges are not included in the item price. See info below. We continuously negotiate the best price contracts to keep these costs to a minimum.

Standard Small Parcel Tiered Shipping Rates

Smaller lighter weight items are generally shipped via UPS. These products will have the shipping charges calculated based on your order subtotal. You may use the chart below to calculate the shipping charges. Our website’s cart also calculates rates based on this chart.

Freight Carrier Shipping Rates for Furniture Items

All of our furniture items (Think: tables, chairs, desks, carts, cabinets, boards, etc) are shipped using motor freight carriers (aka Truck). These freight charges can be quoted in advance by phone, fax, email or our online form at www.acpdirect.com/shipping

Our commitment is a 4 hour turnaround for less than truckload quotes. For truckload or multiple truckloads 48 hours is standard.

Tailgate Delivery is the most economical method. The driver is responsible to bring the freight to the back of the truck. You must have personnel available to unload from the back of the truck’s tailgate into your facility. If you have a loading dock this always the best way.

Liftgate Delivery is a recommended add-on service for facilities that do not have a loading dock. For larger and heavier items it is sometimes required to safely lower products to ground level.

Inside Delivery is another add-on service that is available. Driver will deliver to ÿ rst ° oor just inside front door. (No stairs)

Very Important: If the items on the shipment are too heavy or oversized for a dolly or pallet jack, the driver will need assistance.

When your shipment arrives

Please inspect your boxes for obvious damage and notate this on the drivers delivery receipt. Contact us immediately after you discover the shipment has arrived damaged or short. Damages or shortages need to reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. We also recommend digital pictures be taken as they are requested often by the carriers. Pictures will expedite the replacement. We are fully committed to your satisfaction but will need your assistance in these matters.
